show #11
TV Guide has listed its Top 25 Cult Shows Ever on their May 30-June 5
issue and MST3K has landed the number 11 spot on the list. Here's a
quote from Mike Nelson about the cult-ability of the show, when he
recently addressed a college audience, "There was nobody over 25. I had
to ask, 'Where are you seeing this show?' I guess we must have some sort
of timeless quality." You can pick up a copy of the TV Guide issue at

01.24.04 | Interview with Mystery Science Theater 3000
founders on NPR
On August 8, 1999,
NPR commemorated the last
new episode of the cult TV series,
Mystery Science Theater 3000 with the reprise of a 1992 interview
with MST3K founders Joel Hodgson and Mike Nelson. And with the last week
closing quickly on any and all re-runs of MST3K on
SciFi, this sentimental
interview may offer some small consolation for MiSTies in the final
hours of MST3K once again. You can hear the interview (requires Real
Media Player) by clicking here.
