Movie Summary  Movie: SST Death Flight:  On its maiden flight, the crew of America's first supersonic transport (SST) learns that it may not be able to land, due to an act of sabotage and a deadly flu onboard. And what a cast! But we'll get to that in a moment. First, George Maharis (TV's Route 66) is mad at the builder of the SST, Burgess Meredith, (Rocky) because he refuses to promote him any further than the lowly position that leaves him virtually in command of every airplane mechanic and maintenance employee from one end of the hangar to the other. And depending on your point of view, the most powerful and often times abrupt airplane mechanic supervisor of all time decides to either prove or disprove his hard earned reputation for not acting like a human being by shrewdly tricking one of his unsuspecting maintenance employees to pump some highly corrosive detergent (is there any other kind?) into the SST's hydraulic system in the hopes that when things get bad (i.e. the SST flight suddenly becomes SST Death Flight), Robert Reed (TV's The Brady Bunch) will turn the plane around and the ensuing bad publicity will ruin the financial future of SST Enterprises. Bobby doesn't listen to him though, and with an incredibly deadly and highly contagious flu virus spreading throughout the plane, you can figure out the rest. That, along with a bunch of other ridiculously funny happenings, including nice-guy Bert Cony dating a bimbo (Miss SST!). Other cast members along for the ride include Barbara Anderson, Peter Graves, Lorne Green, Season Hubley, Tina Louise, Billy Crystal, and more.
